Inclusions
Accommodation, all meals, two safari activities per day, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines).
Return transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS).
Emergency medical response and emergency medical evacuation insurance.
Exclusions
All other beverages, babysitting, private transfers, gratuities, laundry service, other items of a personal nature.
Conservation levies, gate fees and additional reserve fees.
Minimum Stay
Minimum stay of 2 nights, unless otherwise specified. 1-night stays on request only. Recommended length of stay is 3 nights.
Conservation Levies and Additional Reserve Fees
Klaserie Conservation Levy of R300 per person per night.
A vehicle entrance fee of R210 is only payable at the Klaserie Control Gate for all self-drive guests.
Child Policy
Children above the age of 8 are welcomed, due to the layout of the lodge regrettably children under the age of 8 are not allowed, please see Simbavati River Lodge for a child friendly safari option
Cancellation Fees including Covid-19 Provisos
Cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival - 0% cancellation fee.
Cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival - 90% cancellation fee.
If a booking cannot take place at the last minute due to Covid-19 restrictions, for example a travel ban in South Africa or in the country of origin, then we offer 100% refund or postponement to new dates.
If there is a personal Covid-19 issue, not covered by client’s Travel Insurance (such as a Covid-19 diagnosis or denied boarding), we aim to be as flexible as possible. Please discuss individual circumstances with us.
All cancellations and changes are only valid if received in writing.
Please note that we reserve the right at any point in time to amend or withdraw these terms and revert to our standard contracted trading terms. Any existing confirmed bookings would retain the current booking and cancellation policy, sufficient notice will be given.
Postponement Policy
Any existing bookings travelling during the period 10 May 2020 to 31 March 2021 can be postponed up until 30 June 2022, subject to availability.
Except for the 2021 festive season (20 December 2021 to 05 January 2022 which may attract a surcharge), postponed bookings are not subject to seasonality or inflation related surcharges.
All postponed bookings however, be subject to any concession fee surcharges as imposed by the relevant authorities.
Should any existing bookings opt to be cancelled and later request a postponement, our new 2021-2022 rates will be applicable to the new dates.
Payment Policy
The balance is to be settled 15 days prior to the arrival of guests.
